What’s Your Magic?

“Sometimes magic is just someone spending more time on something than anyone else might reasonably expect.” – Raymond Joseph Teller

Without the backstory, extraordinary results seem magical. They give the illusion of ease, the appearance of having magnificently poofed into existence. But the truth is that amazing individuals, families, and organizations are exceptional because they have spent more time on the pursuit of excellence than reasonably expected by worldly standards. Perhaps it’s even useful to consider the saints as people of beyond-reasonable perseverance.

This week I invite you to ask yourself:

What might my magic be? In what areas of my life am I willing to persevere “more than anyone else might reasonably expect” in order to achieve extraordinary results?

God bless,
Dan
