The Perfect Teacher for You

In her book, I Need Your Love — Is That True? Byron Katie says, “There is no mistake about the person you're with; he or she is the perfect teacher for you, whether or not the relationship works out, and once you enter inquiry, you come to see that clearly. There's never a mistake in the universe."

She says this from a general spiritual perspective. How much more true this is for the Christian. 

God created the world through His Word.
The Word became man in Jesus Christ. 
Jesus Christ is the Perfect Teacher. 

God did not make the universe and walk away. He continually holds it in existence. He is the cause of being itself. Therefore, your life is a perfect lesson for you, created by the Perfect Teacher.

This week, I invite you to ask: 

If the people in my life are my perfect teachers, what might they be sent to teach me? If the circumstances of my life are a perfect lesson created by Christ Himself, what might He be trying to teach me?
