Three Questions to Examine Your Life

Marc Barnes raises the following three questions toward the end of a fascinating episode of the New Polity Podcast:

• Is the thing that you’re doing hard?

• Is it exciting? 

• Does it feel like something that when you die and tell Christ what you did, He will say “Wow! Tell me more”?  

This week, I invite you to ponder the gift that you are currently making of your time, talent, and treasure: 

On a scale of 1-7, how hard is what I am doing? 
On a scale of 1-7, how exciting is what I am doing? 
On a scale of 1-7, how confident do I feel that at the end of my life Christ will say, “Wow! Tell me more,” about what I am doing?  

What would I be doing if I were a 7 for all three? If I could only pick one action, what would be my next step to get closer to this vision?
